Zad Mjan services are provided via mobile applications and the website to support order deliveries between users, merchants and couriers. This policy includes all account types: User Account, Merchant Account, Courier Account, and Management Account, and any associated services such as verification, technical support, and messages and notifications. Zad Mjan is not the owner of the products sold by the stores, but rather an intermediary platform for organizing the order, collection (if any), and managing delivery according to clear operating mechanisms. Additional terms may apply for certain stores, product types or delivery areas; These terms are complementary to this policy and are not a substitute for it. Each party is obligated to use the system in accordance with the applicable laws and regulations within the scope of operation, while respecting consumer rights, intellectual property rights and data privacy. If you are using the Service on behalf of an entity (company/organization), you represent that you are legally authorized to agree to these Terms on behalf of that entity. Any misuse that affects the integrity of the service or the trust of users may lead to account suspension or termination in accordance with this policy. The policy applies to everyone who visits the platform even without creating an account, within the limits of the general technical data collected. We always aim to apply the “minimum data” principle to operate the service efficiently and safely. If any provision conflicts with applicable law, it will be interpreted to achieve legal compliance without invalidating the remaining provisions.
We may collect identifying data such as name, phone number, email, address or site description to facilitate account creation, fulfillment and confirmation of orders. We also collect order data such as products, quantities, prices, order time, and merchant and courier data related to the order to ensure service implementation and follow up on the status. When using maps, we may collect geographic location data (direct or approximate) to determine the delivery range, calculate distance, routing, and update the courier’s route when needed. We collect technical data such as device type, operating system, IP address, app identifiers, and log data to improve security, detect fraud, and improve performance. Preference data such as language, notification settings, and order history may be collected to provide a better experience and facilitate reordering or technical support. For the merchant, we may collect additional data such as store name, business type, commercial register (if requested), collection accounts, and store administrator data. For the courier, we may collect additional data such as identification/vehicle documentation (if requested), delivery history, and ratings, for safety and quality of service purposes. We do not ask for passwords in messaging or support, and any party is prohibited from unreasonably requesting sensitive data. We use data only for operational, legal, and service improvement purposes, and we do not sell user data to anyone. If we need a new purpose for processing data we will make this clear in policy updates or internal notices where necessary.
The data is processed based on: (a) the performance of the contract and provision of the service to the user (order/delivery/payment), (b) compliance with legal and regulatory requirements, and (c) legitimate interests such as fraud prevention and security improvement. Where explicit consent is required (such as for some types of marketing notifications or sharing of additional data), we will explicitly ask for your consent and you can withdraw it later. Zad Mjan is committed to data protection principles such as transparency, data reduction, purpose identification, and data accuracy, in accordance with the best recognized practices for delivery service systems. We take into account the statutory obligations within the Sultanate of Oman and the regulations related to consumer protection, combating information technology crimes, and regulating communications and electronic transactions. If the Platform is available to users from other countries, additional laws may apply depending on the user's location and scope of operation; We will always try to align practices to achieve compliance. We may request additional verification documents from merchants/couriers when necessary for legal compliance or to reduce the risk of fraud. Any use of the platform for illegal purposes or in violation of regulations exposes its owner to accountability in accordance with applicable laws, and we may cooperate with the competent authorities upon regulatory request. We maintain operational records necessary to prove operations (Logs) within reasonable time limits and without prejudice to the rights of individuals. These terms are interpreted in a way to ensure that users' data is protected without disrupting the service or violating the laws. If you have special compliance requirements (entities/organizations), you can contact us to arrange this as possible.
Account information must be correct and up-to-date, and the user is responsible for any activity that occurs through his account unless it is proven that it has been hacked, with immediate reporting. It is prohibited to share login data or grant your account powers to another party. You must also use a strong password and activate any available protection methods. The Merchant is obligated to accurately update product data, prices, availability and business hours to avoid canceling orders or harming the user experience. The courier is committed to professional dealings, respecting the user’s privacy, not opening packages or tampering with the contents, and delivering the order in accordance with safety requirements. The user is obligated to provide a correct address and location, ensure receipt on time, and not abuse the cancellation service after preparing the order. Any attempts at fraud, impersonation, creating multiple accounts for malicious purposes, or disabling the service may result in the account being suspended or permanently blocked. Verification procedures such as OTP code, mail/phone authentication, or merchant/courier documentation review may be applied when needed. We reserve the right to temporarily disable accounts suspected of being abused until verified, in order to protect third parties and the quality of the service. Parties are responsible for complying with laws regarding the sale, delivery, and restricted products (such as medications or restricted substances) in accordance with local regulations. If a serious violation is proven, internal and legal measures may be taken, including notifying the competent authorities in accordance with regulatory requirements.
Prices and fees (delivery/service/taxes if applicable) are displayed before order confirmation and may vary depending on region, time, availability and store policies. Once the order is confirmed, it may enter the preparation stage with the merchant, which may limit the possibility of free cancellation depending on the order status and operating conditions. Repeated cancellation without legitimate reason may affect the user's account and may result in temporary restrictions to protect merchants and couriers from operational losses. Exchange or return is subject to the nature of the product, merchant policy and consumer protection laws, especially for food or perishable products. In the event of a shortage or damage upon receipt, you must immediately report it to support and provide proof of the condition (if possible) within a reasonable period. In some cases, the amount may be refunded to the original payment method or as a balance within the platform depending on the payment mechanism, applicable laws, and payment provider policies. A delivery/service fee may be charged if the order is prepared, sent to the courier, or part of the service is performed. The merchant is obligated to accurately describe the products, provide alternatives when they are not available with the user’s approval, or cancel the unavailable part according to the system’s mechanisms. Complaints are dealt with according to fair verification procedures, and we may request additional information to ensure that the compensation system is not abused. Zad Mjan reserves the right to reject incorrect or fraudulent compensation claims and document the reasons within internal records.
Payments are processed through authorized payment provider(s) (such as electronic payment gateways) and payment terms may be subject to their policies and reviews. Zad Mjan does not usually store complete card data on its servers; Payments are routed through secure, industry-standard encrypted channels as much as possible. Transaction information such as reference number, payment status, transaction value, and processing time may be collected for financial reconciliation, fraud detection, and customer service purposes. If payment fails or the transaction is suspended by the bank/provider, the order may appear as incomplete; It is the user's responsibility to verify the bank's notice and complete the payment if desired. When paying on delivery (if available), the user is obligated to provide the correct amount, and restrictions may apply to some accounts in case of repeated non-receipt. We may implement security controls such as additional verification of suspicious transactions, or blocking transactions from devices/networks exhibiting fraudulent behavior. Any chargeback disputes may require providing the payment provider with basic order information to prove service within the limits of the policy. The merchant is obligated to comply with payment collection/settlement requirements in accordance with its agreements with Zad Mjan and with payment providers. Refund times may vary depending on the bank or payment provider, and the user is usually provided with a reference number to follow up on the process. We recommend that you do not share your banking OTP code or payment details with anyone, and Zad Mjan will not request this data via phone or messages.
Limited User Data may be shared with the Merchant to fulfill the order (such as first name/phone number/address/order details) as necessary to prepare and deliver the order. Limited data may be shared with the courier (e.g. name/phone/location/delivery instructions) only for delivery and pickup coordination purposes. Technical or operational data may also be shared with service providers such as hosting, map providers, notification providers, or payment providers, according to contracts that ensure data protection as much as possible. We do not allow third parties to use your data for independent marketing purposes without your explicit consent unless legally required to do so. We may share aggregated or anonymized data (that does not identify a specific person) for the purposes of analysis, service improvement, and performance measurement. In the event of a merger, acquisition or restructuring, the data may be transferred within a legal framework with appropriate notice where necessary. Upon legal request from a competent authority, we may disclose specific data in accordance with legal procedures and to the minimum required. We require merchants and couriers not to keep user data outside the scope of the service or use it outside of the order except as permitted by law. If you receive communication from a third party claiming to be from Zad Mjan and requesting sensitive information, please report it immediately through our official channels. We periodically review our partners and assess their security risks as much as possible to minimize any unwanted data exposure.
The site may use cookies to improve your experience, such as remembering session, language, and protecting login forms from unauthorized use. We also use analytical tools to understand page performance and system errors and improve speed and stability, while avoiding the collection of unnecessary personal data. Analytical data may include: most visited pages, loading time, device type, browser, and country in approximate terms. You can control cookies from your browser settings, but disabling them may affect some site functionality such as logging in or saving a session. In apps, advertising identifiers or app identifiers may be used for service improvement purposes, and this varies depending on operating system settings and user permission. We do not sell tracking data to any third party, and we use it internally to improve the user experience and detect crashes. We may later add in-app options to control some non-core types of analytics where needed. When you use external links (such as app stores), their respective privacy policies apply to browsing within their domain. If external tools such as maps or payment gateways are used, these tools may use their own files or technologies depending on their policy. We always recommend reading your device and browser privacy settings to control tracking according to your preferences.
We implement reasonable security measures to protect data such as encryption in transit (HTTPS), access control, and periodic security updates as capable. We use operational logs to detect hacking attempts, abuse, and abnormal activity, and may block IP addresses or devices as needed. We are committed to acting in accordance with the laws related to information technology crimes, and we may take legal action against any attempt to hack, destroy, or leak data. Employee access to data is restricted on a Need-to-Know basis with internal access tracking as much as possible. We warn against sharing any sensitive information such as passwords or OTP codes, and we note that official communication takes place only through authenticated channels. We may use multiple verification mechanisms such as OTP or device verification to reduce the risk of account theft. If a security incident occurs that materially affects data, we will work to contain it and report it as required by laws and regulations. We may require the user to update the application to obtain the latest security patches, and some older versions may stop working for everyone's protection. Users are obligated not to reverse engineer, attempt to disable security, or perform vulnerability scanning without written permission. Our goal is to minimize risks, but no system is 100% secure, so we stress the importance of user caution as well.
The user has the right to request that his data be updated or corrected if it is inaccurate, through the account settings or through technical support, depending on the availability of options. You may have the right to request a copy of the basic data associated with your account within the limits of technical and legal capabilities. You may request deletion of your account, but we may retain some records that are legally necessary or for financial and security purposes for a limited period in accordance with regulatory requirements. Deleting an account may result in loss of access to order history or benefits associated with the account, and may not be reversible after completion. You can object to some types of non-essential processing (such as marketing messages) by unsubscribing or disabling notifications from the app settings. We are committed to responding to privacy requests within a reasonable period and verifying the identity to protect the account from fraudulent requests. If you are a merchant or courier, there may be additional contractual obligations that affect the scope of deletion or retention of records. We may need to retain certain data to substantiate transactions or deal with payment disputes or formal complaints. Any request aimed at concealing illegal activity or evading financial or legal obligations will be rejected. For inquiries related to privacy, you can contact us via the official email shown below.
Delivery services may include financial transactions and location information, so it is preferable for the user to be an adult or use the service under the supervision of a guardian in accordance with the laws of the country. We do not intentionally collect data from minors, and if we discover that a child's data has been collected without parental consent or without a legal basis, we will delete it or disable the account, as the case may be. Some stores or products may require additional verification upon delivery if there are age restrictions on the product by law. The guardian is responsible for monitoring the minor’s use of the application if he allows him to use the phone or account. Payment options may not be available for some accounts if behavior is observed that suggests the user is ineligible for transactions. We are committed to not sending marketing messages to minors or using their data for non-operational purposes. If offensive content or behavior coming from a minor's account is detected, the account may be suspended to protect third parties. We recommend turning on Parental Controls to prevent unauthorized purchases or location sharing. When necessary, the guardian can contact us to correct the account data or close it if it turns out that it belongs to a minor. This provision remains subject to local laws and any child online protection regulations.
If you have a complaint or inquiry about privacy, terms of use, or fulfillment of orders, you can contact us through the official support channels. We recommend including the order number, phone number associated with the account, and a clear description of the issue to speed up processing without sharing sensitive data. We may request additional information to verify identity or verify order details before providing any compensation or adjustment. We reserve the right to update this policy when needed due to operational, security or regulatory changes, and we will post the updated version on this page. When there are material changes we may notify the user within the application or via email where appropriate and required. Your continued use of the Service after updates are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated terms, unless laws require separate consent. If it is not possible to reach an amicable agreement on a complaint, settlement mechanisms may be applied in accordance with local regulations concerned with consumer protection or judicial authorities. We emphasize that our goal is to build a reliable and secure platform that respects privacy and ensures a fair experience for all parties.
